Natural environments and the animals that live in them can be categorized as aquatic (water) or terrestrial (land). The term aquatic can in theory be applied to animals that live in either freshwater or saltwater. However, the adjective marine is most commonly used for animals that live in saltwater, i.e. in oceans, seas, etc.

A pet is an animal kept for companionship and enjoyment or a household animal, as opposed to livestock, laboratory animals, working animals or sport animals, which are kept for economic reasons. The most popular pets are noted for their loyal or playful characteristics, for their attractive appearance, or for their song. Pets also generally seem to provide their owners with non-trivial health benefits;

Birds are characterised by feathers, a beak with no teeth, the laying of hard-shelled eggs, a high metabolic rate, a four-chambered heart, and a lightweight but strong skeleton. They are tetrapods (having or having descended from vertebrates with four limbs) and lay amniote eggs, whose embryosare surrounded by the amnion membrane.

Feng shui is an ancient Chinese system of aesthetics believed to use the laws of both Heaven (astronomy) and Earth (geography) to help one improve life by receiving positive qi. Although feng shui is conceptually similar to its Indian counterpart Vaastu Shastra in that they both try to harmonize the flow of life-energy (qi in Chinese or prana in Sanskrit) through the house, it differs in the details.

The companies that set up Petzit.com plan to share the advertising revenue. Pet accesory dealers, distributors & manufactures are already planning to market their product at petzit. Petzit will also be linked to all pet-specific major sites portals.

But Petzit will be open to any advertiser, including companies with products.

Other future expansion plans could include incorporating Vets Suggestions, Pet Greeting Cards & Screensavers and lots more.

Although much of the information on Petzit.com is drawn from other providers (like the Wikipedia), the idea is to set up a formula to gather content from a variety of sources, and support it with strong brand names.

There’s a lot of content and e-commerce about pets, but it’s all fragmented,“We thought there was a big service opportunity to put it all in one place.

Another feature helps people who are considering a new dog find the right breed. A visitor answers a series of questions about his home, family and the size of the pet he wants, and the site suggests possible matches.
